Greenlicious @ Boulevard

It's Thanksgiving (Outdated! Supposed to be 24th November 2012 =_=).

Well, I got totally no idea what Thanksgivings (Wikipedia) is all about but I guess it’s something like our Harvesting Festival (wild guess). The only different though is that there’s no public holiday here in Malaysia (sob)

Not many people realized its Thanksgiving that night, but we are here at Greenlicious for something similar. Two of my colleagues had organized an ‘Appreciation Dinner’ for their team members (including me la) who had work so hard to deliver the project (Forget bout the details).

Since I got totally carried away with the foods, I forget to snap pics of people! Shoot!

This is something alien to me. It has the texture of jelly and you actually 'drink' with the straw. Can't really remember what the ingredients are cos he was explaining in fluent mandarin. The only thing I remember clearly is that he mentioned this drink will help 'KEEPING US YOUNG'!!!

Thanks for the great Night!

T Forty Two @ Empire Subang

I was supposed to post this much earlier but (sigh) I couldn’t upload anymore photos as I had reached my picasa album limit (The free limit la).

I was like (Stunned for 3 secs) “What?!?! What the heck is Picasa album??”

Apparently all photos uploaded via blogger will be linked to picasa album. Is some sort photo sharing site powered by Google. All users will get the first 1GB for free and anything above that you gotta pay $. Guess that’s how incomes are generated.

Of course I wouldn’t be ‘investing’ for the additional space. No way! After some homework done on photos web-hosting, I am now a user of Photobucket!! (Suddenly become an Internet freak). I guess I will be running out of space after 10 posts cos I only have 1GB space for free.

Anyway, back to my Lovely Cuzees outing.

Ribbon & Carmen waited impatiently while I snap photos.

I always wanted to visit this place T Forty Two at Empire. I think it looks kinda cosy. Yaya, I do make naïve judgment of a place by its environment. If you want to keep my tummy happy, you gotta make my brain happy first!

If you could see, this place is actually located in...ermm..the middle of nowhere?

Oh, by the way, this place is under The Big Group. Do check out my post on Journal by Plan B

The actual* shop is behind me. I think they do offer some clothes but we didn't bother to check it out yet.

Nowadays, people will let me snap photos of their foods. Some offer helps, some reminds me while some join the fun! Thanks!

Kopitiam @ Ipoh

We were at Ipoh one fine day to visit some relatives plus makan-makan (Food Hunting). The challenge was not to hunt for some famous food but rather to locate those places that we had been before and have totally no idea how to go or where it is! No one in the car actually knows the way around Ipoh other than the GPS that is of not much contribution. Not because the GPS is outdated, its us that know nothing about the place we wanna go!!! WTH!

Anyway, after getting lost for quite some time, we managed to locate this place with my little bit of Cow-sense. We came here like 7-8 years ago?

Let's see what's for starter :-

Dumpling Soup. Good that there's no shrimp!

Ipoh Style Chee Cheong Fun! Nice

Ipoh is famous for its Beansprout Chicken. I don't fancy steamed chicken but the beansprout is superb! Fat and Short!!! Hahahaha

This is no ordinary Chicken Noodle. (Kai Si Hor Fun). The soup has a very special taste and aroma that you cannot find in other stalls. Since the soup has a little bit of orangie oil, we suspected that they added shrimp into the soup (wild guess)

The main course and that's why we are here. MUM loves this popia.
The ordinary way of Popia.

Mum requested for this photo. LOL!

~~~~~@~~~~
Here's the approximate address if anyone is interested.
Address : 74 Jalan Bandar Timah 30000 Ipoh, Perak
Bty, remember to pay for the parking although its weekend!!! My car just got her first Fine!!!
Darn!
My Beauty Essentials
With all those foodie posts, you bet that the biggest chunk of my expenses would has ended up inside my tummy. Well, that’s not exactly true cos’ an even bigger portion was spent on my face!
No! Definitely not plastic or cosmetic surgery or whatever it’s called. It’s more of using those expensive liquids that are said to do miracle on your skin! (Bty, my bro called those stuffs ‘chemical’)
Erm, I started off my proper beauty regime during high school when I started to have those ugly acnes popping out on my forehead. I don’t really have acne problem during my teenage age (supposingly). Dunno if it’s coincident or what, those things found me right after I came back from Cameron Highland trip. Of course I felt so depressed and anxious!
That time Clean & Clear was like the heat teenage facial wash. So I ended up using this but it doesn’t really work. I mean it did dry up the existing acnes but the scars stayed too!
Mum got even more worried with my forehead and brought me to a pharmacist. He recommended this.
Since it in bar form (usually is liquid types one ma), I dropped it N-times into the WC! After spending endless times looking helplessly at those bars in the WC, I finally get used to bar and well, of course skin recovered (duh)
Ever since, I take care of my face more than any other part of my body. LoL
I am not sure if price is equivalent to quality but I started off my first set of facial product with Dermalogica. Complete set as if with cleansing gel, toner and mosturiser.
Seriously I never really follow those steps. Apply toner and moisturizer as and when I felt like I should cos I am damn lazy. I always wonder why my aunt would take so much time applying layer after layer of skin care on her face every night and morning. (Now I understand)
I have a kinda complicated skin, that all beauticians told me – Oily on the inside but dry on the outside! WTH!! So, I got no choice but to trust them lo. Most convincing part is in fact they advertised Britney used Demalogica! LOL. I used Dermalogica and fall in love with it.
Sadly, we can never stick to the same product forever cos our skin changes as we grew. Nowadays, acne doesn’t love me as much as before and that’s good news. However if you found yourself less visited by Ms.Acne, you’ll realize that your skin get a little bit more thirsty (dryness/dehydration).
So everything I use nowadays is hydration products. I tried Shiseido hydration range and its okay. When I wanna get another set the counter guy told me that I should try the whitening instead cos my skin looks a bit dull. He claimed that Shiseido whitening products are ‘more famous’ than the hydration range. It’s the only whitening products that doesn’t dry your skin…bla bla bla..got pyscho-ed and so, I ended up with one big set! =_=!
 Cleanser
Toner
Moisturiser (Morning)
Moisturiser (Night)
SKII (Miracle water?!?!)
Erm, I don’t really think they do miracles to my skin (yet) but will keep using till I found a more suitable product!
These are my other essentials :-
Sunblock. The only sunblock that i can use without developing sensitive red patches on my skin.
 A new brand that my new beauticians recommended me.
Not bad and was planning to try the whole new range (broke)
I don’t really make-up a lot but this is the few good stuffs that I love and probably will stick to it forever.
Base that i use it like sunblock (WTH)
Eyeline by Majolica Majorca! Must have eyeliner! Never smeared but easy to clean off!!
Shu Uemura eyelash curler. They have the best designed curved for asian eyes.
MAC foundation that i barely used. Too thick la..I don't need so much coverage also. And I found that it turned to be 'oily-er'. Is it right??
Estee Lauder Mascara. Another must have cos it also doesn't smear. Can even apply on your bottom lashes without making u looking like a panda.
Shu Uemura cleansing Oil! Make-up or no make-up. You'll need to cleanse your face twice at night!
We call that double cleanse!
