I’m a Pregger!

We had been trying for bb for the almost half year and finally we hit the jackpot!

Baby Bump (4)

It was really disappointing to have failed to conceive after so many trials.

The first time when Ms.P was late, I was so sure that I am conceived. I walked and drove super cautiously, thinking any impact will affect my bb. I drove over hump like I'm driving an expensive sport car. When Ms.P knocked on the door 2 days later, I almost cried out.

It’s tough to go through 4 times of disappointment. I started to worry and wonder if I am normal. I even thought of suggesting Kent to go for sperm count (LOL). How can we not hit the jackpot with that rate?

My stress level was on the high side. I felt sad and moody sometimes and it get worst if anyone (relatives especially) asking the question ‘’When are you going to have a bb?’’

Although we are not rushing to get our first bb, it just doesn’t feel right to have failed so many times. I started to felt a little less stress when i stop thinking about it. Let it flow naturally. Why stressed?

When Ms.P was late for almost 2 weeks, I decided to keep quiet about it. I do not want to embarrass myself another time. I waited patiently (hoping Ms.P to delay for another week).

Both of us were suspecting something but not a single word was being mentioned. When I saw a pregnancy test kit in the bathroom on one fine evening, I knew Kent was so certain about it. We were already so happy even before the test show a +ve result. The answer that we were actually looking for is how many weeks pregnant!
Confession time

Apparently getting conceives is not supposed to be so difficult. I was repeating the same stupid mistake for the past half year. I thought the flower (ovulation day) shown in the app is the only day for bull-eyes. In fact, any other days after Flower-day are almost useless. The actual winner of the jackpot is actually Kent because he’s the one making the correct estimation.

Dara Ayu Villas & Spa - Cooking Class

This is my first cooking class in life and the first training class for a newbie wifey.

Cooking is more of Kent’s talent than mine. I always came out with some really weird taste combination

It is so not my style to take up cooking class during holiday. Since there isn't much we can do at Ubud, we decided to give it a try.

All the ingredients were prepared by the hotel and that's including cleaning the chicken of course. Should have requested to join them to the market if that had crossed my mind earlier.

My first task is to grind some onions and garlic to marinate the chicken. Oh, did I forget to mention that this is a traditional cooking class. No LPG or electrical appliances. Everything is back to the basic.

Next is to do some massage for the chicken with the marinate paste. Massage, massage, massage and stuff eveything else into it. The rest of the work was completed by my 'Sifu'. We have like three staffs helping us with the cooking class. Basically, we are just doing the real simple chores (those that doesn't burn the kithen)

Tada! The soup is done and I do not even remember what kind of soup it is...LOL

The traditional way of preparing coconut shaves and cut my finger!

Kent helping out in the kitchen too because he can't look at how clumsy I am in the kitchen.

That's the banana tree stem and we thought only the flowers and fruits are edible.

WaaaLaaa!!! Its all done!

Went back to our personal Gazebo for lunch! Yummy! Own cook food is the best!

Time to leave!

and time for my Vacation Ice-Cream!

Dara Ayu Villas and Spa @ Bali

We spend our last two days at Ubud, Bali. The journey from Seminyak to Ubud seems to take forever. I remember waking up from my naps to realised we were in the middle of some trunk road. Okay, not that ‘trunk’, just a bit out-skirt with lots of trees.

Why would anyone suggest Ubud is the most relax place in Bali? There is basically nothing there. Well, I guess that is how honeymoon should be. Got trapped in a secluded place and left with nothing other than your other half.
When our van stopped at I-dunno-where-I-am, we were like, this is our hotel?

Bali Day 2

Finally we are at the BEACH!!!! Hello, what is a holiday without Sun, Sea and Beach?

Nusa Dua

Alright, we didnt really touch the water cos it was raining when we left the hotel and the sun was shinning like mad when we reach the beach. Arrgghh....! Why do you have to treat us like that?

 The water is so clear!!

Can you spot crabby?

It was such a waste that we did not prepare for a swim. Anway, we manage to enjoy some quality time strolling along the beach!

Uluwatu Temple - Pur Luhur

This is one of my favaourite place in Bali. I just got so relax listening and staring at those waves hitting against the cliff. We were like, okay lets move on after this wave. Okay, maybe the next, or the next, etc.

Jimbaran Beach Sunset Dining

Looks like its a beach day! We headed to Jimbaran Beach for sunset dinner. We didn't get to select which restaurant to dine in because our driver "suggested" us to dine in one that he have 'business' with (I bet)

Since we have no idea which one to go either, we stick to his suggestion. Seriously, there is a whole row of restaurant and bar along the beach. You not need to go to the one "suggested" but you might risked getting cursed by the local.

BBQ corn as appetizer!

Okay, its time for food review and this time its gonna be a nasty one!

I always tried to avoid negative comment/review but this one seriously hits me! Not so much about the food nor the price. We were so readied to pay the tourist price to dine in a tourist area. This meal on the table cost roughly RM300 (2pax). Nothing really special about the seafood as most are grilled. The crab is kinda small but it's fresh.

What I was so unhappy with is the local's attitude! They (He to be precise) seems to 'look down' on us Asian!

I can totally felt it! His face was grumpy when he passed us the menu. He do not even bother to introduce us what to eat.

He NEVER greet nor smile at ALL time even when ushering us to our seat, taking order or delivering our food. When we ask for something, he may just walk off as if we are invisible.

What really made me felt MAD is that he transformed into one of those shoe-licking-cat in front of a caucasian (who's drinking beer only). He treated him the way a tourist should be treated like. He talk to him and smile politely all the way.

And I thought he does not speak English or most likely suffered from some rare-face-muscle-cramp-diseases or something. Oh, maybe constipation??!

I seriously do not understand why we were treated in such a dreadful way. They were few other Asians too in that restaurant. I kept an eye on him and they were treated the same way we were being treated.

Okay, maybe i was a bit more sensitive cos the others doesn't gave a d#@m about his services. I mean, what's wrong with him? Its not like we are sitting there for free. Hello, we are paying for our romantic sunset dinner and he just screwed up our afternoon.

Conclusion, if you do not wish to destroy your supposed-to-be romantic sunset dinner, please AVOID JIMBARAN!!!
