Ipoh & Penang Weekend Trip + Food Hunting

Finally, time for some food update on my blog! Food used to be one of my greatest satisfaction until I am officially a pregger. During my whole pregnancy, I do not have those crazy food crave (you know, those unreasonable food crave at the wrong time and place that may drive your other half to madness) I wish I could have at least experience those 'privilege' once. Since its almost impossible this round, I guess the best thing I could do is to eat whatever that crossed my mind. We were on our babymoon from KL to Penang. Its a long journey and its almost impossible to resist a stopover at Ipoh for a food-break. Here we are at one of our childhood breakfast place.   Hakka Mee (Photo Credit to Vkeong )

Crochet Hat for Baby Bump

I am going to be someone’s mom in another few more months!? I mean this is something that I had always doubt myself. How can I ever be ready for the new role when my mum(s) are actually taking care of me? Some says it’s a natural instinct in all women. Not so much for me though cos I am still acting like a naïve kid (okay, mentally not physically). I still do silly things and most of the time Kent either caught me doing it or joined me. LOL I guessed the main ‘instinct’ I noticed during my pregnancy is the interest to prepare DIY goods for baby bump. I wanted to make pillow, bolsters, bed bumper, cot bed cover, cot rail cover, nursery bag, soft toy, etc for Baby Bump. I shopped for good cloths and even bought a sewing machine. Please tell me this is one of the mom-to-be natural instincts. And I thought I am a genius in sewing. After all the googling and shopping, I only ended up with rice bag and tummy binder which doesn’t required much skill. Not long

First Trimester (Week 1 - 12)

Kent had been calling me Pregger ever since he learnt about this new word. We were both very excited about our first baby. Kent was especially nervous that he started to do research and shopping when I’m only 2 months pregnant. The first thing he bought is breast pump. He is the one who chat with my sis-in-law about user reviews, functions, price and the latest model while I am the one sitting besides listening to the conversation in awe. I hope he know how to use it as well because I knew nothing about that cute-alien-looking-machine.  I do not know since when I felt that Kent was sleeping far away from me. As if he’s trying to avoid any contact with me. Only found out that all Daddy-to-be tends to sleep that way (like a cliff-hanger but more to the 'cliff') because they are worried they might hurt the baby. That’s so funny.
