My Earring Collection
One fine day while (finally) I was cleaning up my room, I came to realise that I actually have my own collection of earrings. Well, I wouldn't say that its considered as massive but at least it's the whole collection of earrings that I actually adore.
Nowadays, earring is selling at as low as RM10 for 3 pairs. Of course, the quality may be compromised. Usually this range of earring is displayed at the shop front. So, usually I'll simply walk pass through that and headed straight to those displayed in the inner part of the shop believing that the quality would be guaranteed and most importantly, I won't run into someone who's wearing the same as I do.
Believe me, that thinking of mine am so wrong! I bought this (picture below) at about RM15 and few months later, I saw it selling at RM10/3pairs and my supplier is actually wearing that?!
Earring that I thought 'Special' |
After that particular lesson, I dump that dumb idea and started to look at any earrings that caught my eyes. Currently, this is my favourite!
I don't know since when I got hooked into OWL! I mean, they are supposed to symbolised 'Evil' or 'Inauspicious' in the chinese believe. But seriously, I just can't explain the attraction it got me. It's simply....Unique.
I actually enjoy buying more than wearing earring. Why? Because I can't see it when I am wearing it! Well, unless that earring is so unique that it catches others attention and they start to give you compliment then that would be different story. So, I am more that delighted to receive earring as souvenirs. Earring can be a way much more memorable souvenirs compared to those key chains and magnets. Why again? Well, think about it. How many people will use more than one key chain? How many people will walk to the fridge and start to admire the magnet you receive as souvenirs? At least, I am not in either situation. But earring, they made me remembered exactly who gave it to me and where they had been whenever I put them on.
