Avillion @ Port Dickson
Yey! Finally our Family Trip is here. Weekdays gateway at Avillion @ Port Dickson. This place is perfect for family like us (who wanted to some feel of romance despite the little lamp post around).
We stopped by for some Cendol Bakar nearby cos Kent said that this is the must try at PD. I think we stopped at the wrong place because there isn't much tourist/partrons here. Plus, the cendol is not even Bakar/Burn!! LOL....WTH
Me: "Bang, mana yang bakar ni?"
Kent : "Nama I Bakar, so kedai nama ni Cendol Bakar la"
...................
Erm, just normal cendol here and I wasn't really impressed. But is Sean's first cendol though. Guess he enjoyed the most.
The main reason why we picked PD is because it is the nearest beach within driving distance. Also because they have a small petting zoo in the resort. Chicken, hens and peahens are strolling around the resort like its their home. Those birds are so used to human that they don't even runaway (care) when we approach them.
Oh yes, the resort had offered us a free upgrade to chalet room! Thumbs up!
The layout is almost like Avani Sepang but with the additional open-concept bathroom. I wanted to post the bathroom photo here until I realised that it is kind of weird that we took so many selfies in the toilet. So, lets just keep that place in suspend.
Sean was exceptionally thrilled to be in the beach. Reminds him of the beach in Pulau Redang kot. But we did not allowed him to go near the water cos...you know...Redang is still better. Beware of sand flies. We got bitten quite a bit because we didnt have the repellent. So darn itchy and it doesn't goes away in weeks.
Mandatory Foot Selfies (with all the toys) We bought all those toys last minute from nearby shops (2 ringgits shop). So worth it cos is just RM2.12 for each toy. Ok la, cheaper means more choice right.
We decided to dine in the resort restaurant cos why not. We are here for a holiday and we should have spent most of our time there. The food was not bad though. I still think it will be safer to dine here than to explore outside.
We didn't sleep well through the night (don't know why). But I don't mind if I get to wake up to this every morning. Looks very relaxing hor but I was packing our luggage in the chalet.
I was so busy packing until I was distracted by the muster of peahens showing up near our chalet. Was enjoying watching those peahens until i realised that they are here to poop. On second thought, that peacock is so lucky...so many peahens accompanying him..lol.
Wassup Woman! That's my favourite spot.
Thanks Hubby for taking time off and organising this trip for us. You are a great Husband and Dad! Love you and lets plan for another trip soon.
