Why do you start this Blog?
Do you want a sincere answer? I started blogging out of boredom. I had submitted my resignation and was on 2 months notice. They just refuse to let me go earlier even though there is really nothing much for me to do. So, with the extra time that I have in the office, I started this blog.
Secretly, I was also very much influenced by this famous blogger #Fourfeetnine who I saw on the newspaper. She have got a wedding proposal that went viral! It is something that I wish mine could be, so I thought that I might need to be prepared for it too. But then my proposal was really nothing of that sort seriously.
So now this blog is like my little open diary. I used to write diary back when I was younger. I remember once I was really pissed off when my cousin read it on purpose! Now, I put everything online hoping that people will find it interesting. How irony is that?
What is your Blog about?
I used to blog mostly on foods because I enjoy food and enjoy trying new places. Cafe hopping used to be my favourite weekend activity. But as I get older, I think I kinda morph into lifestyle or sorts. Blogging only as and when I have some deep thought that need to thrash out.
Why do you complain so much?
As a matter of fact, I am not complaining. I am just giving my opinion but in a much formal way. Sometimes shyt happen and there is just no way to channel out my thought. No one lives in perfection in this world. No one will be happy 24hours a day, if there is, he/she must be mentally ill. I like to share the real thing that I am going through in real life.
I am a person with many many opinions and thoughts. Sometimes I wonder if there is any job out there just for people to make complain or better word 'suggestion for improvement'. If I am really dissatisfied with the service/food/anything that I paid for, I will definitely lodge a complaint. This runs in all my siblings genes though my parents don't own that. But if something is really good, I will not hesitate to give them the thumbs up right away and it will quickly be my favourite list.
Sometimes is just mere good times in life. Sometimes is just me being super down and lost in life. I guess this is real life!
Where are you from?
I am from a well-known country in South East Asia. Not Singapore because they are no match for us. If you have heard of 1MDB/Najib/Rosmah, then you probably already know which country I am from.

Are you a Chinese?
Does that make any difference? Yes I am a Chinese born in Malaysia. My parents too. It may seems a bit complicated but this is how special our country is. We have all sorts of Etnics here who are all known as Malaysian. That's is also the reason why I know 4 languages. Though not super good in any of it but rest-assured that we can still communicate effectively with our Manglish.
Any racist issue? It's a lie if i say there is non. I would rather say, we lived peacefully in within our own comfort zone. Most of us get along quite well but there are still some highly-political-influenced-soul who don't. Most of us show respect for each other difference though some tolerate more when it comes to the halal matter, education and business opportunity fairness. We don't receive as much assistance compared to others maybe because we are more capable in helping ourself or we are just being ignorant when there are actually all sorts of unannounced government grant.
How did you meet Kent?
This is an open confession. I met Kent in High School when I am 15! So we have this morning routine to line up in front of the classroom before school start. I have this weird feeling of being stared (death stare) from someone on the 1st floor of the next building block. I spotted someone looking at my class direction but I really don't know anyone from that class. Well, I just play it off because I though he might be looking at another girl from my class who i think is prettier and more famous for sure.
One fine day during a recess break, I was hanging with my girl friend on a corridor checking out the bulletin board and this boy walk up to me and introduce himself. Still remember his hand was sweaty and voice trembling. A really weird situation to be in but a very brave decision that he had made that day.
The rest is history and we are married now with a handsome boy after 14years of pak-tor. There goes my youth.
How do you do in school?
Well, I am actually quite a good student to begin with. Scoring an A is always the priority. Having good memory is the reason why I am doing pretty well in exam and also because I wanted to. I remembered when I first registered into college under the scholarship, I told myself that I am going to get the Best Student award too. I don't know how but I did it and I was the top student in my college for that particular batch
I am still amazed by myself when I read my own assignment. Like how the heck did I came out with all that?
Stress that I had been exerting to myself had led me to nightmare like forgetting the complex math formula or having to sit for the National exam even after I had graduated from college. There were times that I was so stressed that my brain did not actually sleep for weeks. Is like after you had a really strong coffee, your body is tired and needed rest but your brain just refuse to.
Thinking back, I may still be very proud to be the top student but I had not been putting those knowledge into any good use. What is the use of the complex math formula when all I needed is just simple trigonometry?
Our education system is just so wrong. I need to learn softer skills. Skills that allows me to excel more in any areas that I am interested to.
Now that I am working, I realised that professional don't earn as much as a smart Businessman do.
What do you do for a living?
I sure do have a permanent job (because blogging do not generate any money). I am working as a Quantity Surveyor with a Developer. I can also proudly say that i am a certified QS.
People used to confuse that I work as a QC (Quality Control) when my job scope got nothing to do with it. To put it in simpler term, QS is basically the accountant for a construction project. We are the one who prepare the super thick documents for the contractor to pricing.
I am still looking for better alternative in life though. Like starting a side business or just doing something that I really loves and yet earning sufficiently for my living.
What sport do you like?
Believe it or not, I used to be in the school Basketball team. Not many people believe this shyt but yes I am. But that was the past when i was so in-loved with Slam Dunk comic book that i have the complete collection of it.
Now I prefer swimming and yoga. Exercise that can be done alone and the only person that I need to break-through is myself.
What is your favourite pass time?
Seriously? I do not have a particular hobby to start with. But when I am feeling lucky on a particular weekend, I will do some baking. Or perhaps some gardening?
Most of other time I'm just stuck with Instagram, Facebook, Youtube. Now that we can shop online, I will be browsing Lazada or Shopee app for special deal or cute stuffs.
